Marcus Lane has been performing stand-up comedy since 2006 and has worked all over the United States with many great comedians such as Eddie Brill, AJ Finney, Jason Robinson, Rocky Whatule, and many more. He has been producing and promoting live production shows for the last seven years and worked with various charities and organizations. In March 2014 he decided to start NWA Comedy for a Cause which would produce live comedy shows for charities in the Northwest Arkansas Area. After 5 months of success and support it was time to think bigger. Hence, the birth of Giving Laughs Inc. We are excited about our future shows and productions for the many in need charities, organizations, and individuals. We don't just give money, we give laughs.
Matt Miller has been an Arkansas Radio Personality for almost a decade, programming and branding some of the largest Rock Stations in Northwest Arkansas and The River Valley. Matt's knowledge and experience in Advertising, promotions and executing Large Events for Charity groups makes him a great fit and ally as our VP of Marketing and Media Relations member. Matt is an important supporter of Arkansas' Local Music scene.
With 11 years’ experience, Rebecca Lane specializes in Illustration, Apparel, Logos, Print, Identities, Marketing and on trend design. She began her career as an Art Director for a Forbes Fortune 500 company, Walmart, where she specialized on Marketing designs before moving on to Apparel Design, Specialty Design and 3D InStore Marketing Design. She also has worked for Hallmark/DaySpring Inc. and various freelance opportunities. Rebecca now is a Textile Designer for Walmart and designs all the girls wear for Walmart while also working with her studio, Rebecca LaVonne Studio. Rebecca does freelance design, illustration and web design, as well as teaches painting classes to adults and children.
Jon Dodson has been working with non-profit organizations for over a decade and is currently the Director of Advancement for Habitat for Humanity Kerr County. Jon specializes in non-profit event administration and development.
